(245) Painted Red and Blue.

I hand painted card stock,
let them dry before cutting out the
star points.
It adds a new texture to the designs.

A white flickering light is in the blue star,
red in the red star.

A fire engine red light.

These take about 30 minutes to cut per point.

Pink & White

This is the second custom order: Pink in white.
I've simplified the cut design, but still takes about
20 minutes per point to cut.It makes for a more durable
star, which shoud last a very long time...
as long as you take care of it.
This is what the small star looks like folded down.
About three inches thick.

Small Blue.

This is the basic form, folded and glued,

Extra special cut, taking half an hour to cut each point.
All the little shapes have to be weeded out, as clean as possible.

Tissue paper is glued on.

Edges are folded in and glued.

The points are assembled.

The white light is tested.

This is the final result.
It took the same time to assemble this little star, as a large star.

Thanks for visiting.

Make It 2010 Show.

This is my first big craft show, not like any of the other
trade shows I've done. Lots of unique one of a kind
gifts and other creations here.
It took me some time to build this stand. It has a canopy
built on the stand, to block out some of the overhead light,
so the star lights would show up better.

Indoor sales are much better, than on Stephen Ave,
and at the farmers market. I've also expanded my
product line, and made improvements to the stars,
that may also be a factor.

Saturday should be the big day!

Come by booth 15 and give me the code
"Super Star", and I'll give you a little gift.

Thanks for visiting.

This is the bubble cut design. Using stickers for decoration.
I'll have a few blank stars that can be personalized at home.

These are some of the kids stars already done.
There are many one of a kind designs.

Red Star.

Half a star with red fabric covering.

Five to six LED tea lights fit inside.
These are a little more delicate than the full star design,
but it holds up well enough.

My wife suggested having it as a table centerpiece,
since it lays flat, and more lights could be included.
