Princess Pink.

This is from two weeks back, missed
posting it somehow. I've fallen behind
on production, got a little sidetracked
with Halloween costumes.

Thanks for visiting.

Half Star-Five Lights.

This is the new design for half a star.
It can hang on a wall or window. One to six tea lights
can fit inside. This is showing the basic frame, no cover.

I have a limited supply of stars, I'm making them
as fast as I can. See you at the next show!

Light Gift Box.

This is a new box design for small gifts. It measures 5"X5"X1.5".
An LED tea light is fitted on the bottom.
I'll try a few different images and lighter tissue papers.

Hot Pink.

The type is a little tricky on this design,
the L and O has free floating shapes
that has to be individually glued on.

I am open to new design ideas, and I'm willing to do some
customized designs. Contact me if you are interested.

Thank you.

I had to put in a couple more.

Super Star!

I'm finding ways to improve the basic frame design with every star I make.
The refinements and new designs keep it interesting.

I will have a table at OTAFEST LITE, November 13th 2010.
At the University of Calgary from 10 AM to 8 PM. More details to follow.

Bats.

Extra work on this one. Lots of extra pieces cut out.
The brightest star so far. Yellow tissue paper on
the outside.

Thanks for visiting.

Panels.

Single GL panel (back & front). The edges are folded
in for support, making four layers on the frame work.

Stars are assembled with glue, two sided tape and staples.

Each star has been different, only a few are repeated.

Green Lantern.

The latest design uses twenty separate pieces of
card stock. This gives me a supportive frame,
allowing me to use larger cut outs.
This lantern is covered with green tissue.
The stronger frame requires more assembly
and more material.
Still...love the final product.

Toys & Fairies

New stars, using pre-printed tissue paper.
I made adjustments to the lights to make
them even brighter.

I will be distributing stars to retail locations
in Calgary, and make appearances at other events.

Spidey 2.

This is version 2. Going with a web design as a base.
Extra work on these ones, doubling up on frame work
for extra support. Good results though.

Stars On Tree.

" Can we light up all the stars?" my sons asked me.
It would have taken some time to do all of them,
but I strung up a few and liked the way it looked.
It made the boys happy, and they did a little
"disco heart dance".
Later on,I put it up on the tree and took a few pictures.

Hearts X 2.

The yellow/pink is tissue lined on the inside.
Red is tissue and cellophane lined, using a white light.

The yellow glow is a flickering LED tea light.

I've created larger stars. They are eighteen inches across,
using twice the amount of material compared to the first version.
The first ten are already reserved, I will have more available at
craft shows and other events. Please contact me if you are
interested in one of my stars.

Thanks for visiting.
