Marble Experiments 1

Sunday afternoon Art projects with paint and card stock.
Back in my College days, I made a lot of marble paper
using watercolour paints. Trying it out with oils gets a totally
different result. I will have to do these on a larger scale.

Play with Ink and Watercolour.

The first one is a watercolour doodle on lunch break.
Corn on Fire.

Second one is a doodle done before bed
with a brush pen. Colours on Photoshop later.

Gotta do more.

(245) Painted Red and Blue.

I hand painted card stock,
let them dry before cutting out the
star points.
It adds a new texture to the designs.

A white flickering light is in the blue star,
red in the red star.

A fire engine red light.

These take about 30 minutes to cut per point.

Pink & White

This is the second custom order: Pink in white.
I've simplified the cut design, but still takes about
20 minutes per point to cut.It makes for a more durable
star, which shoud last a very long time...
as long as you take care of it.
This is what the small star looks like folded down.
About three inches thick.
